The love for her homeland of Sri Lanka inspired Sharmaine, assisted by her English husband Peter, to begin sharing the ‘Flavours of Ceylon’ with Eastern England in April 2007. Hailing from the gorgeously tropical country, Sharmaine had a vision to bring Asian cuisine and culture with a difference to Cambridgeshire – a hugely successful idea which continues to grow from strength to strength.
From freshly cooked Sri Lankan food to arts and craft items to travel advice, we aim to bring you the best of Sri Lanka with our bespoke products and unique personal approach. We can arrange wonderfully fresh and enticing food for your party or event, help to plan an excursion using our personal experience, or help to navigate the property market if your love for Sri Lanka grows to match ours.
Both Sharmaine and Peter are qualified to level 2 in Food Safety and Hygiene, and Flavours of Ceylon’s premises and practices have been inspected and approved by the local authority.
Come and try something new for a life with flavour.
